KOREAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR In concert: World Vision presents 1971 tour of Australia and New Zealand 12 INCH VINYL LP Tracks are: as listed in pics above [please click pics above for larger versions] (Australia) EMI Custom YPRX-1014 (1971/2 Australian release with Arirang amongst other tracks on side one and a number of traditional Australian folk songs on side 2. Cool pics on cover of young Koreans with a Koala. I made this item’s pictures from an A4 scanner rather than digital camera, so the cover pics are segmented on this one. Recorded in Melbourne, Australia, and I’m not sure if any earlier recordings (released on record) by Korean music artists have been made in Australia.)
Collectors notes: earliest Australian pressing of a vinyl record by Korean artists that I have found to definitely exist. There is an earlier one but I am yet to see a copy myself or even a picture of of a copy Kim Sisters 7 inch Monument PKE 1661 (1966). As an Australian I’m particularly interested in any Korean music released in Australia on record.
Mic’s collection status: I have this record.
