KIM SISTERS 김시스터즈 Just Like Taking Candy … 7 inch 45 (US) Monument

KIM SISTERS (김시스터즈) Just Like Taking Candy From A Baby/No Sad Songs For Me (US) Monument 45-914 (early 1966  – 7 inch 45 rpm single, promo copy)
Matrix: D9W-734  No Sad Songs For Me (T. Springfield) [arr. Ray Stevens, pr. Ray Stevens, Fred Foster]
Matrix: D9W-735  Just Like Taking Candy From A Baby  (Jerry Reed) [arr. Ray Stevens, pr Ray Stevens, Fred Foster]
D9W-732, 733, 734, and 735 probably all recorded in Nashville May 5 1965. Billboard (24 April 1965) says Mercury recording artist Ray Stevens had signed with Monument boss Fred Foster as a producer and Stevens & Foster were rehearsing the Kim Sisters in Chicago for a May 5 recording session in Nashville.
Tom Springfield (real name Dion O’Brien) was Dusty Springfield’s brother and, with her, an original member of The Springfields. Dusty Springfield may have recorded this song.
Jerry Reed was a prolific Nashville songwriter, recording artist and session guitarist.
